Pressure reveals patterns—some that help a team move forward and others that quietly drain energy, trust, and connection. This free assessment helps you see how you respond when the stakes are high, where your energy goes, and what you may want to shift next. Choose the path that fits you: self-leadership for your own growth, or executive and team leadership if you guide others.
Physicians are often promoted because they are exceptional clinicians. Then they are expected to align teams, address conflict, lead change, make difficult decisions, and protect performance—often without the development or support those responsibilities require. Over time, the cost appears in strained communication, stalled initiatives, disengagement, turnover, and the loss of experienced people healthcare cannot afford to lose.

We believe leaders should not have to choose between meaningful impact and a sustainable life. When leaders are supported, teams communicate better, people stay and contribute, and change has a chance to last.

Is your team working from the same priorities—or simply working harder in different directions?
Is a leadership transition, innovation, or organizational change creating uncertainty that no one is naming?
Are your strongest leaders carrying so much that their engagement, wellbeing, or desire to stay is beginning to change?
We see how much healthcare leaders carry: the outcomes, the people, the difficult conversations, and the decisions that follow them home. You deserve support that respects both the responsibility of your role and the fullness of your life. Our work helps leaders and teams see the system more clearly, have the conversations that matter, and build new ways of working that support performance, contribution, and a sustainable future in healthcare.
For more than two decades, I have practiced, taught, mentored, and developed people inside academic medicine.
My journey began where many of yours did: deep in clinical practice, committed to meaningful work and gradually realizing that expertise alone does not prepare us for everything healthcare asks us to carry.
I have known the exhaustion of demanding clinical work and the complexity of teaching, leading, supporting colleagues, and trying to make wise choices for both a career and a life. Coaching helped me see that sustainable leadership is not about becoming tougher. It is about becoming more aware, more intentional, and more capable of creating new responses when old patterns no longer serve us.
That realization brought together the work I had been doing for years—as a physician, medical educator, communication teacher, mentor, and leader. It also became the foundation for Transforming Healthcare Coaching®.
I found a way to lead and contribute without treating the rest of my life as the price of admission.
Today, our interprofessional team of clinician-coaches supports physician leaders and healthcare teams through the moments that ask the most of them: new roles, difficult conversations, team realignment, innovation, and consequential change. We know your world because we have worked in it. And we believe leadership can be both high-performing and deeply human.
You are not looking for another inspiring session that fades when the calendar fills again. You need development that connects insight to real decisions, real relationships, and real work. Our AND Framework™ turns leadership learning into sustainable practice.
Build awareness of the values, strengths, patterns, relationships, and system dynamics shaping how you lead.
Translate insight into a conversation, decision, boundary, experiment, or new way of working that matters now.
Use coaching, feedback, reflection, and deliberate practice to turn a promising idea into a sustainable leadership habit.
That is what leadership + wellbeing looks like in practice: people stay, engagement deepens, contribution grows, and the organization becomes more capable of change.
We begin with what is happening now: a leadership transition, a team that needs realignment, or a change your people must carry together.
We design the engagement around the person, the team, and the wider system—not a generic package disconnected from your context.
Leaders and teams leave with stronger awareness, better conversations, practiced behaviors, and ways of learning they can continue without us.
Our coaches have walked the same halls and carried many of the same responsibilities your leaders carry now. Across critical care, emergency medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, medical education, and healthcare leadership, we understand the pressures, identities, and relationships that shape how healthcare teams work.
That lived experience helps us earn trust quickly. Our coaching expertise, communication training, systemic lens, and evidence-informed methods help leaders and teams turn that trust into meaningful action.
Our approach is personal, rigorous, and deeply human.
We do not arrive with a generic answer and ask your people to fit inside it. We partner with you to understand the real work, uncover what is making progress difficult, and build the leadership and team capacity your organization needs next.
